There are many diseases, which are though not caused by pathogens like bacteria or virus, create a lot of physical and mental troubles in human beings. Back pain is one of them and it is mainly caused by injury to muscles, discs, ligaments or bones on the back or to the spinal cord. ``There are a lot of factors related to lifestyle that contribute to generating the disease,’’ says Narendranath, a physician in Kerala. ``For example, a person can fall victim to the back pain if he has a constant poor posture while sitting or standing. There are also many women approaching me complaining of back pain, and when I analyse the reason, I can trace it back to their habit of wearing high heels,’’ he says.Rajendra Reddy, who works with a renowned IT firm in Hyderabad testifies this. He says, `` I used the gym equipments without the help of a trainer for a few days. I think it was after that incident, I felt a severe back pain and had to undergo a back pain ayurvedic treatment.’’ Digestive problems, constant stress and anxiety too can lead to the disease, say experts. Ayurveda has been identified as the most effective treatment as it involves not merely the medication to reduce the pain. Rather, Ayurveda tries to find out the reason, roots out the cause of the disease through various therapies and finally rejuvenates the body and mind.
