This was a great rotation. Good hours roughly 8am till 5pm. Great attendings. Dr. McNair is simply amazing. You can almost get away with just listening to her and never reading anything. She loves to teach and will teach you till you can't breathe but in a good way. Dr. Morgan and Dr. Nichols are great also. The VA is also a nice change because everything is computerized, no hunting for charts. The inpatient service is very light. The most we ever had was 3 patients in house at a time, with 4 students on the service. You are in clinic every day which actually isn't bad becasue it takes away from the monotony of stroke patients and you end up seeing a large variety of neurology patients.
