You can call this class MCG's best kept secret. It was great. Juniors don't usually take it but there is no reason not to. You meet Mon-Thurs from 9a.m.-1p.m. There are no tests but you required to do a presentation on basically anything that has to do with breathing. It only has to be 10 slides and takes all of 10 minutes. The final was a game of Jeperody. The last week was optional ACLS training so of course I took the week off. It was amazing!

I second that--great for when you need to study for Step II or have interviews going on during 4th year.
But don't think it's a BS course--you learn a lot. It's VERY helpful before your ICU rotation for managing vents. I think everyone should take the course from future surgeons and anesthesiologists to pediatricians and internists, it's valuable stuff I wish we were taught in the book years.
