The electives are both similar as it's really whatever you want to do. Dr. Londino heads up the thing. I wanted to see a little bit of everything that a Child Psychiatrist does and have some chill time, too, as I was taking Step 2 CK the same month.
I usually worked three and a half days a week, and probably could have worked less if I wanted to do so.
I only attended inpatient rounds three-four times and didn't present patients. I just sat in for rounds which was a nice change compared to the 3rd year rotation. The list of things I did: Weekly Asperger's group, Journal Club, weekly Didactics with the Child Psych Fellows and Attendings, Grand Rounds, Eating Disorders consults and psychotherapy, Child Abuse Response Team, Neuropsych Testing in the NICU, Psychoeducational school trips, Juvenile Detention Center trip, Inpatient Consults, outpatient appointments with Dr. Londino, and lots of noon lectures that the fellow presented.
You'll work with Dr. Londino a good bit, but pretty much do anything you want to do. She has a list of things to check off that's you're interested in seeing. You can even do some Adult stuff, too. It's really a priviledge to work with Fellows so closely and get to go to Didactics in such an intimate setting. You get fed a lot, too.
